How to activate your SIM card

Purchase a plan through the app!
Download the PhoneBox App
Login to your account or create a new one
Click on the Shop menu
Choose from Prepaid or Monthly plans
Read the plan details and select it
You can choose to continue with eSIM or Physical SIM
If your device is compatible with eSIM, we recommend you to move forward with this option.
Don’t know if your device is eSIM compatible? Check it here.
If you choose to continue with a Physical SIM, you can type the SIM card number you would like to activate, if you already have one, or order one SIM Card to be delivered to you.
Insert a valid email address and postal code.
Next for all the options, you should input your information, such as Name, email, the province you will utilize the service.
When choosing your Activation date, you can select the same for an eSIM activation or if you already have a SIM Card. But you need to choose some days ahead if you need to wait for the SIM Card shipping to arrive.
You can also choose to port in from another carrier, and keep your phone number.
For this, we will need your Account number with the current carrier provider you use.
If you don’t have a Canadian phone number, you can’t port in. So please select continue without Port in.
Confirm the information and proceed.
On the check out page, choose how you would like to pay.
If you have already chosen a plan and paid
On the activation date you will receive an email including your new phone number. Once you have received this email Please:

Power down the mobile device
2.
Insert the PhoneBox SIM card
3.
Restart the device - Services are now available!
To activate your SIM card, please sign up by following the steps below :
Click <Activation>
Choose <Yes> when asked “Do you have a SIM card?” And click on <Next>
Select your SIM card type and click on <Next>
Input your SIM card number and click on <Next>
Select the plan you would like to use and click on <Activate Now>
Click <Purchase> to proceed with activation.
Personal Information
Please fill out the personal information, ensuring accuracy. Make sure to fill out every information in English.
Port In
If you have a Canada number and want to keep using the number
If you don’t have a Canada number or want to have a new number
Choose the activation date you would like to start your services
And click on <Next>
Check your plan details and click the check box that you’ve read and understand the terms. Click <Proceed to Checkout>.
Select your payment method
If you choose Credit card to pay, please put your card number, name on the card, expiration date and CVV correctly. *Check the box ‘Save for Auto Payment’, if you would like to pay automatically every month.
You have now completed the registration for your new Phonebox Services!

To register new service, please sign up by following the steps below :
Click <plans>
Select the plan you would like to use and click on <Regular SIM>
Click <Purchase> to proceed with activation.

Please provide the correct shipping address where you would like to receive your SIM card.
Choose the activation date you would like to start your services
And click on <Next>
Check your plan details and click the check box that you’ve read and understand the terms. Click <Proceed to Checkout>.
Select your payment method
If you choose Credit card to pay, please put your card number, name on the card, expiration date and CVV correctly. *Check the box ‘Save for Auto Payment’, if you would like to pay automatically every month.
